Chappaqua Crossing Draft FEIS Available PDF Print E-mail

An electronic version of the most recent draft Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) prepared by SG Chappaqua B, LLC on its proposal for the Chappaqua Crossing redevelopment of the former Reader's Digest site has been posted to the Chappaqua Crossing Review Site. This document is under consideration by the New Castle Town Board and has not been accepted by it. The Town Board is posting this draft FEIS on the New Castle Town web site to facilitate public review of it prior to the open discussion scheduled for the Town Board meeting on Tuesday, September 28, 2010.  A hard copy of the entire draft FEIS continues to be available to the public for review in the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours.

Please be aware that some of the document files are quite large and will take some time to download.

The Fall Recreation Program Brochure 2010 is available online!

Registration for Fall programs will begin Monday, August 23rd.  Check the start dates for all programs as they may vary. 

The Art lottery registrations will be accepted from Monday, August 23 - Friday, September 10.  Please note, dance registrations will be processed first come, first served.

Chappaqua Crossing FEIS Comments Updated PDF Print E-mail

Barbara Gerrard, Town Supervisor, has provided comments on the Chappaqua Crossing Final Environmental Impact Statement.  You can downlaod her comments here.

Comments from Town Board Member John Buckley are available here.

The town has set up a companion website to mynewcastle.org called chappaquacrossingreview.mynewcastle.org.  This site has the FEIS documents, comments from consultants and town staff, and additional comments from our elected officials.
