- And Handle With Care!
The Town Pocket Park is an oasis amidst the bustle of North Greeley Avenue.
This stunning garden is free for all to enjoy 'year round, and a great place to have lunch or read a book on the stone benches. It's also up to all visitors to help maintain the peacefulness of the space by treating it gently. And, if your company includes the family dog, please let your pet "take care of business" at an appropriate place outside of the park.
While at the park, you will often be visited by birds that are attracted to the colorful plantings. Please don't be tempted to share your lunch, as most human food is unhealthy for birds, and the droppings may attract unwanted visitors, such as mice.
With loving care by all, we can enjoy the park for many years to come |

In New Castle, homeowners are responsible for bagging leaves for pickup by the Town on specified days. Leaves must be placed at the curb in biodegradable (never plastic) bags. Piles of leaves can result in a sight distance problem and dangerous driving conditions. In addition, please be aware that blowing leaves into the street is a violation of the Town Code.
Special 40 gallon, sturdy paper bags are available for that purpose and can be purchased for fifty cents each from the Recycling Center at 280 Hunts Lane in Chappaqua, 238-8091.
Upcoming yard waste pick up dates are the following Wednesdays: December 3, December 17 and December 24.
