Welcome to The Town of New Castle
Resident Notification System
The Town of New Castle offers an
eAlert system that will notify residents of General Town Announcements;
Traffic and Road Condition alerts; Emergency and Weather Related Alerts; Event
and Meeting Schedule Alerts. Residents may choose to be alerted through their
email addresses and/or their cell phone text messaging. eAlerts will be sent out between 4AM and 8PM, seven days a
week, as warranted. Whenever possible the messages will be small enough
for one text message. Residents will be able to subscribe to the type of eAlerts
they wish to receive. The type of eAlerts
available are:

General Town Announcements
will alert you to special meetings, cancellations and other important New
Castle information.

Traffic and Emergency Notifications will alert you when there is a snow emergency, a
major road closing in the Town or other emergency that might affect a
large number of New Castle residents
You will need to Prevent eAlerts from being blocked by SPAM
filters: to prevent eAlert messages from being blocked by your anti-spam
software, add the domain ealertsedu.com to your white list or list of
authorized senders. If you require assistance in configuring anti-spam,
please contact your email service provider.

to the signup site to register for your type of eAlert.
In order to use the eAlert subscription service you must
provide your contact information to the Town of New Castle.
The Town needs it in
order to provide alerts about the topics that interest you. It is our policy
that your contact information will not be used for any other purpose or shared
with any agency, organization or individual not a part of the eAlert
service.
The contact information provided by you at the time of registration will be
used to send you alerts in the subject areas to which you subscribe. While the
Town intends to send timely notifications, the Town of New Castle
cannot guarantee that a timely and accurate
alert will be sent in every situation, and the Town disclaims and
does not assume any liability
for any delay or error in sending any alert.
